Officer Candy Pena was born in the Dominican Republic and grew up in Lawrence, MA. She graduated from Lawrence High School and continued her education at UMASS Lowell were she obtained a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice in June 2006. While attending college full-time Candy also worked for Key Inc., as a Residential Caseworker for adolescent males. She also briefly worked for the Mentor Network as a Clinical Coordinator out of Lawrence. Candy started her career in Law Enforcement for the Lawrence Police Department as an Auxiliary Officer for about a year.
Candy graduated from the Providence R.I. Police Academy in January 2007.

Dispatcher Robinson Ruiz was born in the Dominican Republic on July, 11 1986. He was raised in Dorchester Massachusetts. Ruiz graduated from Lynn English High School in 2004. He moved to Lynn MA in 1999 and is still currently living there. He is the 3rd shift Dispatcher for the Salem State College Police Department. Before joining the SSCPD team he worked for Corworx, before that he worked as a Laboratory Technician for Aramark a company located inside Logan Airport, and before that he worked for RadioShack. He hopes to continue his career in law enforcement.
