Orientation

Freshmen - August 14 - 27, 2008

We look forward to meeting you at Orientation! The two-day program will help prepare you for success in your first year. You'll confirm your registration and receive your class schedule. You'll also meet with faculty, department chairs, administrators, and student leaders.

You'll be mailed info on which session to attend. As an entering freshman, you should also have attended Freshman Testing. We urge you to attend your assigned Orientation, but if you are unable to, contact the Campus Center to try to reschedule.

Freshman Groups & Dates

• Continental breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.
• You need to make reservations if you want to stay on campus overnight.
• Meet Your Major Room Assignments
• If applying for a campus job, bring proper identification to complete the required forms.
• Need to bring a laptop computer for the first morning of the program.

Freshman I: Thu. Aug. 14 – Fri. Aug. 15

Freshman II: Mon. Aug. 18 – Wed. Aug. 20

Freshman Out of State: Mon. Aug. 18 – Wed. Aug. 20
           (*Note: Some in-state freshman will also be assigned to this session.)

Freshman III: Tue. Aug. 19 – Wed. Aug. 20

Freshman IV: Thu. Aug. 21 – Fri. Aug. 22

Freshman V: Mon. Aug. 25 – Tue. Aug. 26

Freshman Late New Admits: Wed. Aug. 27

Last Chance for Freshmen!

If you haven't taken Freshman Testing, you must attend the last session on Monday, August 18 before attending Orientation on August 19-20. If you are unable to attend this session, please contact the Campus Center to try to reschedule. The last chance for you to accomplish the minimal tasks of Orientation is on Wednesday, August 27.
