ETA TAU CHAPTER OFFICERS

The Eta Tau Chapter Officers are elected to a two year term. Officers prepare annual reports and submit them to Sigma International by July 1st for each fiscal year they are in office. Chapter officers carry out the business of the Chapter.

The Eta Tau Chapter officers are the President who is the first executive officer and administers all business of the chapter; president-elect who is preparing to be President , Vice President who is the second executive officer and serves as advisor to the President and serves a chairperson of the Bylaws Committee; Secretary who maintains the chapters files and is responsible for the chapters correspondence; Treasurer who is custodian of the funds of the chapter and serves as advisor to the President regarding financial matters; Senior Counselor, who advises the President and serves as Chairperson of the Eligibility Committee; Undergraduate faculty counselor, RN to BSN counselor, and Graduate counselor.

Bylaws Committee

Eta Tau Chapter’s Bylaws conform to the Headquarter's Bylaws and include the following:
  1. Provision for the selection and induction of members
  2. Provision for the election of officers and a nominating committee
  3. Provision for filling vacancies in elected office
  4. Provision for selection of two delegates and their alternates to the House of Delegates biennial convention
  5. Provisions for the method of determining and collecting fees and other assessments
