The Nursing Resource Center is dedicated to supporting the mission and philosophy of the Salem State College nursing program.
The NRC offers a comprehensive Computer Lab in HB 213 and the Clinical Skills Laboratory in Harrington Bldg. 212.
Goals of the NRC
- To foster an environment that facilitates and supports faculty and students in their pursuit of excellence in nursing education
- To serve as a resource to faculty, students, and the community
- To provide students with clinical skills practice and innovative nursing computer assisted instruction programs
Hours of Operation
The hours of operation are posted throughout the semester and include open lab times during the day, in the evening and limited weekend hours. Hours are always posted at the NRC and are available on voice mail at ext. 7289.
Staff
The coordinator of the NRC is available to tutor students and assist faculty to utilize the technology available in the Center. Each semester student workers are trained to assist faculty and students with the multimedia resources and technology available in the NRC.
