The Massachusetts Global Education Consortium is a network of six centers located in key regions throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  The consortium is head quartered  at Framingham State College.  The six centers include:

The mission for each of the centers is to assist educators in bringing a global perspective to the schools of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  Each center provides for programs, projects, workshops,  pre-service and in-service training, resources and consultation to administrators, teachers, librarians, and counselors to promote competence in international issues, cross-cultural awareness and content strands of the Pre K to 12 curriculum.

The Northeast Global Education Center is also one of five resource centers of the Massachusetts Geographic Alliance.  As an outreach program of the National Geographic Society,  the center supports and infuses geographic education in the schools and  PreK-12 curriculum.
