North Shore 104.9 Interview
with Salem State College biology professor Joe Buttner

Biology Professor Joe Buttner
Jacky Ankeles

Home to the Northeastern Massachusetts Aquaculture Center, one of three state-funded aquaculture facilities, Salem State College's Cat Cove facility is the unquestioned center of aquaculture education and research in the region. Located near The Willows in Salem, its influence and expertise extend well beyond Salem, the North Shore and even Massachusetts – fueled, in part, by the pursuits of the Salem State biology graduates who cut their teeth there.

Jacky Ankeles, host of North Shore Now, recently interviewed Salem State biology professor Joe Buttner about Cat Cove and, on November 10, 2007, North Shore 104.9 FM aired the interview.

For those who missed it, the entire interview is presented here.
