Salem State computer science professor receives professional award

Gregg C. Whyte PhD, associate professor of computer science at Salem State University, was awarded the Bill Anderson Memorial Outstanding Service Award by the United States Chapter of the Societé Internationale Pour L’Enseignement Commercial (International Society for Business Education) at the annual convention of the National Business Education Association in Boston April 3-7.  The award is the highest honor that can be bestowed on an individual for longstanding service to the organization.

The International Society for Business Education is composed of business and information technology educators in twenty countries, and was founded in 1901.
