All first year students and families are cordially invited to a special reception in your honor. The student life staff proudly welcomes the newest members of the Salem State University “family,” as we celebrate the success of this year’s freshman class with a few fun surprises.
To RSVP for this reception, click here by October 14. This reception is for first year families. In case of inclement weather, the First Year Families Reception will be moved to the Apparatus Gymnasium, O’Keefe Center.

Spooktacular Carnival

Central Campus, Marsh Hall Grounds
The carnival will include musical performances, novelty attractions, arts and crafts, food, games, and much more. Students, family, friends, and alumni are invited to enjoy the entertainment, as well as, interact with faculty, staff and student leaders to learn more about our many services and opportunities on campus. The event will be held outside at Central Campus.
In case of inclement weather the Family and Friends Carnival will be moved to the Twohig Gymnasium, O’Keefe Center.
