Geology students to present research
The Northshore Chapter of Sigma Xi, an international organization that promotes research in the sciences and engineering, will host its second annual research conference on Saturday, February 26 at Endicott College in Beverly. Registration begins at 9 am and discussion will begin at 10:30 am at the Rose Performance Hall in the Center for the Arts.
The Northshore Chapter of Sigma Xi was founded in 2009 and is comprised of students and faculty from Salem State University, Endicott College, Gordon College, and other local scientists. The conference, which is free and open to the public, will include presentations of research conducted by faculty and students from Sigma Xi. Presentations will follow discussion in the Tia Black Box Theater in the Center for the Arts.
