| Unattended Children | |
|
Children are welcome in the library when accompanied by an adult. However, we are concerned about their safety and welfare. Parents or caregivers are responsible for monitoring the activities and regulating the behavior of their children while the children are in the library. Chidren unattended by an adult may be asked to leave the library; Salem State College Police may be notified. By unattended is meant not having a responsible adult in the immediate proximity. Children accompanying an adult are the responsibility of that adult and are expected to refrain or be restrained from actions or noise which might be disturbing to library users. High school and junior high students working on school assignments or other research may use the Library unaccompanied providing they do so in an orderly manner. |
