Reference and Research Assistance
The library provides general reference and research assistance seven days a week, including nights and weekends (email, chat, phone, in-person). In-depth, individualized assistance may be scheduled on an appointment basis with a subject specialist librarian.
Collection
The reference collection consists of materials in electronic formats and non-circulating materials such as encyclopedias, almanacs, dictionaries, handbooks, directories, atlases, yearbooks, statistical sources, and bibliographies on general and specific subjects. United States and Massachusetts laws and court decisions are available through the library web page.
Instruction
Faculty may schedule library research classes taught by professional librarians. Focus may range from basic tours to advanced subject-related classes. For more information please see the Instructional Services web page.
ADA Workstations
Two ADA workstations are available. One is located near the reference desk. The other is located in a quiet study room on the lower level of the library. Students can reserve the quiet study room by showing their Clipper Card at the circulation desk.
