WGBH Boston's La Plaza
"In Latin American countries, the plaza is the physical and cultural center
of town, a meeting place for people, ideas, and activities.
For more than 20 years, LA PLAZA, WGBH Boston's weekly program reflecting
the culture and concerns of Latinos, has created such a meeting place on
television - and now on the web. One of the nation's longest running
television series devoted to Latino themes, LA PLAZA offers all viewers a
vista into the Latino community.
LA PLAZA is a local production of WGBH Boston. Joseph Tovares is the
managing producer. Denise DiIanni is executive producer for local
programming at WGBH. Broadcast of LA PLAZA is made possible by WGBH members,
