The Department of Foreign Languages occasionally hires part-time instructors to teach Spanish, French, German (evening), Italian, and Arabic. Foreign Languages
MSCA
Teach four sections per semester of Spanish language
courses and/or Hispanic-American literature/culture. Spanish Major, Minor,
and MAT program development. Subject to available funding.
Faculty Positions
Specialist in Hispanic-American language and
literature/culture to teach primarily undergraduate students in the
Bachelor of Arts program, Spanish minors, and others. Possible
assignments to teach Hispanic-American literature and/or culture courses
for the Master of Arts in Teaching Spanish program.
Teach four sections per semester, advising and
continuing scholarship.
ABD in Spanish or related field. Ability to teach
Hispanic-American language and literature/culture courses.
PhD in Spanish. Ability to teach a second language,
such as Arabic, French, Italian, or Portuguese, at at least the
elementary and intermediate level. Demonstrated teaching excellence at
the college level. Experience in distance learning and instructional technologies.
