The Department of Foreign Languages now offers a Master of Arts in Teaching Spanish (MAT-Spanish). The program was approved by the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education in the Summer of 2003.

    This course will study Literature by 20th c. women authors from Spain and Latin America. Selected works from the vast panorama of women writers of Spain and Latin America will be analyzed. The works will be approached within their literary context and their cultural context. The idea is to explore the space of female discourse in their social, historical and literary reality of the recent past. Prerequisites: Upper Intermediate level of Spanish.
