On the personal side. I love to globe trot whether it is camping In the English countryside or working behind a makeshift table acting as a pharmacist in the jungles of Guatemala as part of a medical team treating the Quiche Indians. I'm also a huge Internet addict...yes, there are cyber cafes even in the highlands of Guatemala !

During my three and a half years with the Everett Public School System, I have enjoyed working with many amazing students and a dedicated staff. Along with teaching third grade at the Keverian School , I have also been involved in the after-school program and home tutoring. I received my undergraduate degree from Westfield State College and am currently pursuing a Masters Degree from Lesley University . Outside of school I am a “big sister” through the Big Sisters of Greater Boston Organization and enjoy skiing, boating and traveling. I look forward to the opportunity to be a part of the LEARN/21C team and gaining the knowledge and skills in technology that will enrich my classroom.
Lucy D. Sneider
As a teacher in the Everett Public School system since 1983, I began teaching at the high school level. Currently, I am teaching at the Keverian School as a Computer Specialist servicing students in Grades K-8. I graduated from Salem State College with a degree in Business Education in 1982 and then earned a Masters Degree from Cambridge College in 1993. This is my second opportunity to be part of the Tri-City Technology Education Collaborative Project LEARN/21C. I was first involved with creating and implementing the high school PBU Yesterday. I feel fortunate to have been selected for a second time to collaborate on creating a PBU for the elementary level. In my spare time I enjoy walking, cooking and working on craft projects.
