Women prepare flower arrangements for an upcoming funeral.
Buddhists worship in courtyard of Quan Thanh Temple (Den Quan Thanh).

It is dedicated to general Tran Vu who became the hero and savior of Thang Long (Hanoi) in 1677. The general's bronze statue rises to 13 feet.

The temple itself dates back to 1010 a.d.

Nothing is ever wasted in this poor country. She'll probably make it into a drinking cup or use it for some other form of storage. Notice that she doesn't have any shoes on her feet.

Everything is done right on the streets here in Hanoi.

This woman shop owner is preparing the noon meal to sell right on the sidewalk.

Small shop acts as a tiny automotive store or junkyard. Most of what you see here is recycled from older vehicles.
