Pre-Law Studies Minor
This minor is designed to introduce students to the interdisciplinary nature of the law and the legal profession. It draws on courses with the substantive content and study skills which are recommended by the American Bar Association as especially desirable for prospective law students. An introductory course, IDS 260, will analyze the complex of substantive areas encompassed by the legal profession and the problematic trend toward using legal professionals for all levels of problem solving. Other courses are drawn from Business, Economics, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology and Sports, Fitness and Leisure. The Pre-Law Studies minor is open to all students.
Students will take IDS 260, Introduction to Pre-Law Studies, and choose five additional courses.
