Information Technology in the Arts and Sciences Minor (ITAS)
The goal of the minor is to provide "information technology fluency" for students studying and majoring in traditional Arts and Sciences disciplines so that students are better prepared to creatively use information technology in their current research and study as well as future graduate study and/or professional careers. As an interdisciplinary minor, the coursework includes foundation and elective courses taught by faculty with particular expertise in integrating information technology into their disciplines.
A total of 15 credits hours are required for the minor:
