Certificate in Teaching ESL

The Certificate Program in Teaching ESL is an 18-credit program designed to give students a strong foundation in ESL teaching. Students who obtain the Certificate in Teaching ESL will be qualified to teach in adult, community, college-prep, or overseas language programs. Those interested in pursuing the MAT-ESL upon completion of the certificate may apply courses taken toward the MAT-ESL provided that all other admissions requirements are met.
