Fast Track Science Licensure

This intensive program of coursework and support seminars is designed for new teachers with academic background in the sciences but who need courses in pedagogy and an initial teaching license. Courses are scheduled in a streamlined format in late afternoons, evening and summers. Participants may complete the program in a year and a summer. Participants lacking content required by state and/or national standards will need to complete additional coursework. Program completion requires the preparation of a portfolio documenting learning and performance.
