The Master of Science in Nursing program is a 39 credit program with the opportunity to specialize in the fields of nursing education or nursing administration.
The student will acquire advanced knowledge of current and developing theory, which provides a foundation for advanced nursing practice; develop collaborative relationships with professionals in other disciplines to assess and meet health needs of society; prepare for leadership roles in advanced nursing practice, education, administration and research; expand knowledge and expertise in selected area of clinical nursing practice; develop initial competence to conduct individual investigative studies, participate in research programs and utilize research findings; and acquire a foundation for doctoral studies.
