M.Ed.Program in Reading
Program Requirements
Upon acceptance into the program, you will complete a tentative Plan of Study in consultation with the program coordinator. You must request that any transfer credits be considered at this time. Please note that no more than three courses taken at Salem State College before admission can be counted towards this program. You are encouraged to meet every semester to update your plan of study and to discuss your progress. To schedule an appointment, please call The Graduate School at 978-542-6323.
All candidates for the M.Ed. in Reading program must complete a minimum of thirty-six (36) credit hours of graduate course work, including pre-practicums and practicums, and pass a comprehensive examination taken after most of the coursework is completed.
