English & American Studies Programming

Learn more about English and American Studies through activities designed to suit a variety of interests. You can take courses for graduate credit or professional development points. If you are interested in leisure opportunities, you can travel internationally or attend performances.

American Studies

Because historic Salem is the ideal venue for advanced study in history, literature and New England culture, we offer a course on Hawthorne's works at the House of Seven Gables. Or, you can study Transatlantic Women Writers with the option of traveling to Oxford, England.
