Advanced Placement Summer Institutes (APSI)
July 28 – August 1, 2008
Register for the APSI if you are a high school teacher interested in developing and teaching AP courses. You will discuss AP subject area content; prepare course syllabi and lesson plans; and learn about program implementation, such as student selection, budgeting, and preparing students for the AP examination.

Credit and Fees
You may earn 37.5 Professional Development Points PDPs or 3 graduate credits upon successful completion of institute sessions and assignments and full payment of fees. To earn PDPs the fee is $850, and to earn graduate credit the fee is $1,075.
Faculty
All consultants are AP teachers endorsed by The College Board. They include AP exam readers, AP award winners, and lead consultants for regional AP institutes.
Housing
Housing is available on the Salem State College campus on a first-come, first-served basis. Our beautiful facility offers private rooms, with four rooms sharing one kitchen and two bathrooms. Cost is about $50 per night. To reserve a room call 978-542-6416. For more information.
