Massachusetts Performance
Bonus (This program is not currently funded by the state.)
The Performance Bonus was created to acknowledge and reward the success
of the Commonwealth's neediest students toward graduation. The Performance
Bonus provides a financial incentive for students to perform well in
college and persist toward the achievement of a post-secondary education
degree or credential. Eligibility requirements include Massachusetts
residency, enrollment in an associate or bachelor's degree program,
Expected Family Contribution of Zero (as determined by the FAFSA), completion
of at least 24 college credits beyond high school, a cumulative GPA
(grade point average) of 3.0 or higher, and eligibility to receive the
MASSGrant. The amount is $500.
