Facilities Services Department
 Facilities Services is the maintenance and service organization that provides preventive maintenance, housekeeping service, grounds maintenance, electrical, carpentry, painting, locksmith, plumbing, and heating ventilation and air conditioning services to the campus community. Our department is divided into two functional groups:
We are also responsible for SSC's utility budget, utility consumption and energy conservation programs. We routinely identify projects that qualify as bona fide energy reduction efforts resulting in a timely return on investment to the college. We also participate in on-campus recycling.

| Signage Requests |
Submit on Sign Request Form [PDF 31KB] Facilities is the only department authorized to procure and install college signage. SSC has a graphic standard and a master plan for the placement of all way-finding signs so as to insure a consistent and predictable way-finding pattern and to reduce the amount of damage to building exteriors and interiors as a result of arbitrary sign installation: interior signs may not be mounted on doors; exterior signs may not be drilled into bricks, concrete or other building envelope material.
