Utilities and Trade Groups
Utilities and Trades Group
The utilities and trades maintenance group is responsible for the provision and maintenance of utilities such as water, electricity, oil, and gas.
Utility preventive maintenance includes the inspection of all major equipment on a daily basis either by visual inspection or electronically through the energy management system. Heating or cooling temperatures are adjusted at the time of inspection. Items noted on the physical inspection are prioritized and recorded in the work order system.
The trades maintenance group is responsible for preventive maintenance of and repair to campus facilities and equipment. Our trades workers visually inspect campus common areas on a periodic basis. All items identified during their inspections are prioritized and recorded in the work order system.
