Michael Prochilo Scholarship Fundraiser

   
imageThe English Department is working to endow a scholarship in memory of our late colleague, Dr. Michael Prochilo, who was instrumental in establishing our program for English Majors minoring in secondary education.  Click here to learn more and to contribute to the scholarship fund or to reserve a place at the fundraiser.

The English Department offers courses and programs which provide a solid liberal arts foundation for advanced studies in areas such as law, medicine, business, and the arts.

The Bachelor of Arts in English has concentrations in Dramatic Literature, Literature, Creative Writing, and Professional Writing, as well as a special program for students planning to teach in secondary school.

The English minor offers four choices: Comprehensive, Dramatic Literature, Professional Writing, and Secondary Education-Certification in English.
