Teacher Test Preparation Center
The Teacher Test Preparation Center is in the Education Resource Library on the second floor of the Library. We serve students in all certification programs at SSC. The Center contains computerized and paper-and-pencil practice tests for the Massachusetts Test for Educator Licensure as well as books and materials for reinforcing literacy skills and content knowledge. We offer diagnostic services and tutoring in all areas of the MTEL, and general info about the test.
No appointment is necessary to take a practice test or for tutoring. Tutoring is only available for SSC students and alumni. Drop-in hours change each semester. For a current schedule, call 978-542-7166.
Upcoming MTEL Prep Workshops
The Center is offering prep workshops for upcoming MTEL Exams.
- Workshops are held on 3 consecutive Saturdays
- There is no discount for attending fewer sessions.
- Cost for SSC students (with student ID#) and alumni is $80. Non-SSC cost is $150.
