Project NOBELL
(North of Boston Educators for English Language Learners)

A Title III federally funded five year grant program which provides academic and financial support for teachers of English Language Learners and paraprofessionals becoming teachers. Candidates are currently employed in one of five districts, East Boston, Lynn, Lawrence, Salem or Chelsea and seek an M.A. in Reading, SPED, an M.A.T. in ESL, or a B.S. in Education. Approximately 20 Undergraduate and 20 Graduate students are enrolled.

This grant runs from Sept. 2002 thru Sept. 2007, and accepts applications on a rolling basis.
