Faculty Resources
The Center for Economic Education aims to raise the economic literacy of public school teachers, to encourage teachers to include economic concepts in their classrooms, and to acquaint teachers with readily available resources.
The CTL is charged with developing ways and means to enhance and encourage conversations and action regarding the state of the teaching/learning process at SSC.
Center for Teaching Innovation Located in Suite 312 in the Library, this new on-campus resource is equipped with computers, scanners, digital editing stations, laser printers and teaching resources to assist faculty and support staff in developing teaching strategies and techniques.
The Online Educators Group is an informal group of faculty and staff at Salem State College. It is open to all members of the college community. Its mission is to investigate, support, and promote the offering of credit and non-credit courses online by Salem State College, and the use of online resources in regular online-enhanced courses to augment the meaningful contact and exchanges between the instructor and the students, as well as among the students. These resources include electronic mail, web sites, e-mail lists or bulleting boards (listservs), chat rooms, and so on.
