Online Course Development Project (OCDP) Applications Due December 2.
The office of Academic Affairs is offering a limited number of grants to faculty interested in developing completely online courses through the OCDP. The goal of the OCDP is to provide faculty with the support and resources they need, both technical and pedagogical, to prepare existing courses to be offered in a fully online format via the WebCT system.

Participants receive a $3,000 stipend, half at the start of the program and half at its conclusion to develop one course. You agree to design, develop and teach the course yourself. You agree to teach the fully online course in the fall of 2007 and at least 2 more times within 2 academic years. You further agree to:
-3 meetings with an instructional designer at least 1 month prior to the start of the course
-Regular participation in online discussions pertaining to online teaching
-Attendance at 2 WebCT training sessions
-3 meetings at SSC with other faculty developing online courses
Specific dates and times will be discussed with applicants before starting the program.
