SALEM -- The 12th annual Salem State College homecoming parade will be held on Saturday, Oct. 23 at noon.

Featuring the Saltonstall School Drum and Flag Corps, the Salem High School Marching Band and many banners and floats created by Salem State students, the parade will begin on the college's Central Campus across from the Salem Diner on Loring Avenue. It will proceed up Loring Avenue past the Horace Mann School and turn left on to Linden Street. The parade will proceed down Linden Street and end at the O'Keefe Sports Complex where all participants are invited to stay for a barbecue and the Vikings' field hockey game against Framingham State College.

Salem State College alumni are also invited to a social gathering at Roosevelt's in Salem beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday. All homecoming events are open at no charge to SSC alumni.
