Varsity Club welcomes six new members to Hall of Fame

SALEM – Etson Cameron, Nesta Karner Eanes, Dan Keating and Scott Pike have joined a select group chosen for their athletic accomplishments, integrity, sportsmanship and character. The four former Salem State College athletes were inducted into the Varsity Club Hall of Fame during the 17 th annual induction ceremony Friday, Oct. 17 at the Commons Dining Hall.

The student athletes were joined by Kimberly Lord Driscoll and Joyce A. Lombardi-Dwyer who were inducted for their service to the athletic program at Salem State College.

Cameron, a member of the class of '76, led the Viking basketball team to a 16-5 record in 1974. Eanes, class of '89, played a key role in the filed hockey team's first ever appearance in the NCAA tournament. Keating, class of '96, led the SSC hockey team to a MASCAC title, an ECAC playoff title and to the NCAA final four. Pike, class of '87, was a key member of the baseball team's first NCAA tournament berth and played on a Viking team that posted a 34-6 record in 1985.
