Salem State Trustees re-elect Zykofsky chairman

SALEM - At its June meeting, the Board of Trustees of Salem State College elected Stephen M. Zykofsky of Lynn to serve a second term as Chairman.
Zykofsky, an investment counselor since 1983, was First Assistant Register of Deeds for the Essex County South District from 1977 to 1982.
He graduated from Salem State College in 1977 with a Masters Degree in American History. At Salem State, he was a member of Phi Alpha Theta - a history honors fraternity. Zykofsky received a Bachelors Degree from Northeastern University and was granted a diploma for the Program for Financial Planners at Boston University in 1995.
Zykofsky first became a member of the Board of Trustees in 1994 when Governor William Weld appointed him. He was subsequently re-appointed by Gov. Paul Cellucci.
