SSC professor writes about turmoil in the Catholic Church

 SALEM, Mass. - Kenneth A. MacIver, a professor in the Sociology Department at Salem State College, said the Catholic Church, "Will never be the same," in a column published in the Tuesday, April 30 edition of the Salem Evening News.
"The priesthood is in crisis and must rally and reform," MacIver wrote. "It must rediscover and reaffirm its own valid tradition. It must atone and the atonement must be conspicuous and comprehensive."
