SALEM, Mass. - Over 60 employers from the North Shore and beyond met with prospective employees as the annual Salem State College Job Fair attracted a record crowd to the gym on South Campus Monday, March 25.
"It was our largest crowd yet," said Christine Sullivan, director of Career Services. "Over 300 of our own students came as well as about 50 from the community. That's the limit as far as room in the gym is concerned."
Sullivan, who has been coordinating the event for four years, said that 63 employers from Metro Boston as well as the North Shore set up booths. "They (the employers) were thrilled with the response," she said.
