SALEM, Mass. - The brothers Gardner, better known as the Motley Fool financial company, took their show to the stage Tuesday at Salem State College.
While poking fun at Wall Street and each other, Tom and Dave Gardner gave the Salem State College Series gathering of 1,500 a lively tour of the financial world -- from credit card debt, to major purchases to the stock market.
Traveling in the imagined "Motley Fool rocket," the brothers Tom and Dave used a fast-pace, back-and-forth format to visit different financial situations. The Gardners also fielded questions from the crowd and signed copies of their latest book, "Rule Breakers, Rule Makers."
And, before departing, they provided the crowd with a list of their five favorite stocks - Costco, Schwab, Moody's, Starbicks, and Gillette.
