College employees clean, decorate campus
on Pride Day

Employees of Salem State College took advantage of a sunny (and hot) Spring day recently when they cleaned the grounds and did some landscaping around the college's north, central and south campuses.

The annual Pride Day is a Spring tradition at Salem State.

After the work was done, volunteers were rewarded with a cookout outside the Ellison Campus Center.

Hilary Van Dusen, left, daughter Islay and Tracy Kapantais of the Salem State College Preschool Program work on improving the South Campus grounds.
Katarzyna Drslerska, a teacher assistant at the Salem State Preschool Program prepares a group of young gardeners for Pride Day.
Eilleen O'Brien and Marlene Ellison plan out the garden.
