SSC Community address national
tragedy
Members
of the Salem State College faculty met with students Wednesday morning,
Sept. 12, at the Ellison Campus Center to discuss Tuesday's terrorist
attacks on the United States.
Professors Richard Levy (political science department),
Aviva Chomsky (history) and Eric Martin (history) gave their reactions
to the suicide bombings of the World Trade Towers in New York City
and at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. Over 100 students attended
the talk session with many expressing their concerns about the victims
and how the U.S. should respond.
