In the wake of last week's tragic events, Congressman John F. Tierney has scheduled a series of community briefings throughout the Sixth Congressional District in order to provide an opportunity for people to ask questions and express their views about these terrible events.

Representative Tierney, an alumnus of Salem State College, has requested that we provide space for one of the public forums on campus, and we have readily agreed. The briefing will be held in the Salem State College Auditorium this SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, at 7 p.m.
All are welcome.

Two additional briefings will be held on Saturday, September 22 at the following times and locations:

• 2:30 p.m. Haverhill City Hall
  Nicholas J. Ross Auditorium
  4 Summer Street
• 6:00 p.m. Gloucester City Hall
  Kyrouz Auditorium
  9 Dale Avenue
