Two Accounts, One Card

Your ClipperCard will have two debit accounts for your use.

"FLEX Dollars" and "Dining Dollars"

FLEX Dollars

"FLEX Dollars" is a pre-paid debit account that can be used for purchase of products and services on and off campus wherever the ClipperCard is accepted. "FLEX Dollars" do not expire and will be rolled over by semester and by academic year.

To make a purchase, just present or swipe your card wherever the ClipperCard is accepted. It's that easy! The amount of your purchase will be automatically deducted from your ClipperCard.

Dining Dollars

As part of your existing Meal Plan (i.e. 10 or 14 Meal Plan, Resident Meal Plan or Commuter Meal Plan) you will have $200.00 in "Dining Dollars" per semester. These funds may be used at any dining location to purchase lunch or food for you or a friend. When you present your card, the amount of your purchase will be deducted from your "Dining Dollars" Account.

Also a part of your existing Meal Plan you will have an automatic $75.00 in FLEX Dollars. "Dining Dollars" will be rolled over to the Spring semester but will expire at the end of the academic year. "FLEX Dollars" do not expire and will be rolled over by semester and by academic year.
