Housing & Food
Students in the Summer Programs live in apartment style housing with facilities for preparing meals. During the Fall and Spring terms, ESL students may live in campus housing depending on space availability. We can assist students in finding off-campus housing. There are apartments near SSC for students who prefer to live off-campus.
Costs
$40 Application fee (non-refundable) payable by check or money order
In addition to tuition, students enrolled in 9 or more hours per week will be charged:
$150 college fee for 12 week program
$75 college fee for 6 week program

Students will read selections from folk literature of world cultures. They will examine the similarities of the human condition and the cultural nuances presented with each section.

1 18 hours of class is the minimum number of hours that an F-1 student is required to register for to maintain legal status.
2 These costs include food, room and other expenses. These are estimates based on residency on campus. Additional payment will be required if the student wishes to remain in college housing during vacation periods.
3 All students must present proof of comprehensive health insurance valid in the US. Students without coverage must enroll in the SSC health insurance plan (one year coverage from August 1 to July 31) or a comparable plan.
