Exchange/Double Diploma Program

The exchange program between Salem State College (SSC) and Sup de Co Montpellier, France, allows Sup de Co students to earn a dual degree leading to the double awards of the DESCM at Sup de Co Montpellier and the MBA at SSC. It also provides opportunities for students from SSC to study at Sup de Co in France.

Students are selected for the program by their home institution. Interested SSC students should contact the coordinator. In order to be eligible for a dual degree, students must enroll in the host institution full time for at least one year. Students will be evaluated under the same conditions as their local colleagues. A degree from Sup de Co includes a business placement (professional internship) of six months in France or abroad, and a compulsory Master’s thesis in French or English. Students who do not meet the requirements of dual degree at the host institution will be allowed to complete the degree requirements at their home institution.

MBA Exchange Program in Montpellier, France

The Salem State College Business School operates an exchange program with the École Supérieure de Commerce (Sup de Co) in Montpellier, France. Open to Business students, this exchange offers the opportunity to complete a "double diploma" in which student participants earn both American and European Business degrees. Montpellier, a beautiful small city located on the Mediterranean coast in Southern France, is also the location of European headquarters of IBM and other international companies. For more information, consult the Sup de Co-Montpellier webpage at: http://www.supdeco-montpellier.com/ Or, consult the SSC Center for International Business and Economic Studies (CIBES) website at: http://www.salemstate.edu/cibes/ If you are interested in the CIBES/Sup de Co-Montpellier Double Diploma Exchange, contact Dr. Massoud Farahbakhsh, Professor and Executive Director of CIBES (massoud.farahbakhsh@salemstate.edu).
