Health Services
Our staff provides primary and acute care to all Salem State students. Our goal is to help students achieve and maintain optimum physical and emotional health by providing high quality, accessible and affordable health care. We offer primary medical care, consultation on health-related issues, health promotion programs, and referrals and collaboration with area providers. Most services are available free of charge, although certain diagnostic tests are billed to your health insurance. Our staff includes a registered nurse, nurse practitioners, a supervising physician, and two administrative assistants.

The following services are available for all currently enrolled Salem State students. Please note some services will require an appointment and will specify whether they are available on a walk-in basis or by appointment only.
- Routine Physicals - by appointment only
- Pap Smears - by appointment only
- Reproductive Health -walk-in allowed
- Diagnosis and Treatment of Minor Illnesses -walk-in allowed
- Routine Lab Testing -walk-in allowed, but please call ahead for time restrictions
- Emergency Contraception -walk-in allowed
General Information & Instructions
Where to Get - Sexually Transmitted Infections and HIV Testing- walk-in allowed, but please call ahead for time restrictions
- Immunizations - please call ahead before coming in for any immunization
- Tobacco Cessation - by appointment only
