Dental Assisting Certificate Program

A career of helping people improve their dental health is rewarding and enormously satisfying. No two days will ever be the same and it is a career that is in high demand and in low supply and in need of capable, trained, and caring dental assistants. This program is designed to give you maximum "hands-on" training and experience in a dental office with patients.

The teaching is stimulating, fast-paced, and relies heavily on your participation. The largest size of each group is one instructor per ten students. This insures personal attention and a worthwhile learning experience.

The course includes:

• Training in all aspects of general dentistry assisting,including front desk and reception duties
• Four-handed chairside assisting
• Radiology (x-ray) training
• Sterilization,impressions,and lab procedures
• All textbook,class notes, materials & supplies

You will receive a dental assisting certificate and written recommendation for future employment. Most students are placed in positions BEFORE they graduate. Since the classes fill up quickly, we suggest you call and register early. We will arrange a tour of our office and training facility. Program is held at Dental Careers of the North Shore, Swampscott, MA.
