Correctional Administration Certificate Program
A Competency Certificate is an official recognition that a student has satisfactorily completed a specific core of courses as determined by the academic department and, therefore, has had an in-depth exposure to the special field and has achieved a level of competency in the skill area.

The Certificate of Competency in Correctional Administration will be awarded to students satisfactorily completing six(6) courses as indicated above. The individual must maintain a grade-point average of 3.0 as a minimum for courses taken at Salem State College.
* A total of 9 credits may be transferred from other accredited institutions.
