In the spirit of collaboration, the SSC Center
for Child Studies (CCS) has been developed to:
-
Help us locate who on campus is doing work on issues
that pertain to children
-
Promote what each of us is doing individually within
our own areas of expertise
-
Promote what our departments are doing to improve
children's lives
-
Facilitate the development of collaborative efforts,
including securing grants, conducting research, developing skills and practices,
and publishing in the area of child well being
-
Demonstrate to the local, regional, state, and national
community the important work that occurs at SSC in children's issues.
