Understanding Eating Disorders"Looking Through Broken Mirrors: Understanding Eating Disorders"
Wed., March 5, 7:00pm, Veterans Hall, ECC

Stacey Prussman's eating disorder started early. Before her big audition for the title role in Annie on Broadway, her agent told her, "There are no fat Annie's. You need to lose some weight." Stacey was forever trying to lose that "extra" 10 pounds. After being hospitalized due to the effects of her eating disorders, she finally decided to fight back and learned to set her own standards. Now a professional comedian, actress, motivational speaker and eating disorder survivor, she discusses different types of eating disorders and the warning signs for each. Best of all, Stacey does the impossible by adding a much-needed dose of humor to a deadly serious topic.
