"One Night"

Sunday, Sept. 23, 7pm, Veterans Hall, Campus Center

An interactive play about acquaintance rape. It started with alchohol and flirtation . . . and ended with a conflicting story. Who's telling the truth? What transpires will rock four close friends and leave a lasting impression on everyone who attends. Tickets to the 9/30 Red Sox game or the musical "Wicked" will be raffled off at this event.

"One Night"

Monday, Sept. 24, 11am, Veterans Hall, Campus Center

Second showing of an interactive play about acquaintance rape. (Tickets to the 9/30 Red Sox game or the musical "Wicked" will be raffled off at this event.)

The Clothesline Project

Wednesday, Sept. 26, 10am, Commons Lawn

This dramatic and disturbing display chronicles the emotional pain of women from the North Shore who are survivors of abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault. In it, survivors of such violence have expressed themselves on T-shirts, which are hung on a clothesline. The T-shirts serve as moving symbols of their struggle and their survival.

The Great Salem State Drinkout

Thursday, Sept. 27, 4:30pm - 12:30am

The night-long Great Salem State Drinkout challenges students to stay sober and enjoy the alcohol-free party scene in the Campus Center for this Thursday night. Free activities include A Night in Salem, PC's Bingo Night and Salem State's hilarious improv group, Grandma's Third Leg!

Cash prizes are awarded to the residence and student groups with the highest percentage of active, sober participants. This contest is planned during this special theme week to focus on the role that alcohol can often play in acquaintance rapes. Co-sponsored by the ADEPT Program, Counseling & Health Services.
